FOUNDATION AVA

The Albert van Abbehuis has been managed by many different parties in the nearly 70 years since it was donated to the municipality of Eindhoven. In 2021, four individuals (Tom Veeger, Rene Pare, Eva vd Moer and Rob Verhaar) set up Stichting AVA with the aim of fulfilling the donor's wish; to stimulate, organise and operate cultural activities with the aim of contributing to the cultural climate.

VOLUNTEERS
The AVA Foundation works with volunteers.
If you are interested in working as a volunteer at AVA, an interview will always follow to see where you fit best. See our 'volunteer' page or contact vrijwilligers@albertvanabbehuis.nl for more information.
We ask volunteers to sign the Model code of conduct for (voluntary) workers’ as drawn up by the Dutch Volunteer Work Organisations Association (NOV).
Apart from expenses and travel reimbursments, volunteers receive a volunteer fee of 5 €/hour, max 210 €/month and 2100 €/year).​
