VOLUNTEERS

 

The AVA Foundation works with volunteers. 

If you are interested in working as a volunteer at AVA, an interview will always follow to see where you fit best. Iris Desauw (vrijwilligers@albertvanabbehuis.nl) is AVA's volunteer coordinator. 

 

We ask volunteers to sign the ‘Model code of conduct for (voluntary) workers’ as drawn up by the Dutch Volunteer Work Organisations Association (NOV). 

 

We also organise activities with children. If you are involved in these, we request a VOG (certificate of impeccable behaviour) with your permission. 

 

Apart from expenses/travel allowance, volunteers can receive a volunteer allowance up to the maximum amounts set by law (maximum 5 €/hour, 210 €/month and 2100 €/year).
